I remembered something here at Na Mele O Ka ‘Aina
(Earthsong), among your guests, our people, "malama",
the pure action of Aloha; the kind, gentle caring of
our people and the ‘aina.
-Kavika Naluai. Hilo, Hawai'i
Earthsong is proof that visions of heaven on earth can
manifest. Thank you, Rashani, for the inspiration and
example of love made visible.
-Chipper Roth. Vancouver, B.C.
Earthsong - true to its name. It is so easy to hear and feel the song of the earth in this exquisite place created by,
and with, the love of so many. I so appreciate the beauty,
attention to detail throughout the gardens, the abundance
of Mother Nature that resides here. The deep music of Earthsong
is already calling me back. Thank you for home.
-Barbara Borden. Mill Valley, California
During the winter of 2002, I took refuge at Rashani’s
home on the Big Island of Hawai’i. I had recently lost
my partner and completed my career as a Hospice Nurse
and had essentially left the world. Over the next 3 years,
I was a frequent guest at Earthsong, in part because I knew
of no other place where I could pick through the fragile pieces
of my previous life.
-Hrieth Pezzi. Sonoma County, Ca.
Blessed are those who receive such divine nurturance
from Earthsong. I am honored to be a man, welcomed
into this Goddess sanctuary. It is here we can remember
our innate goodness and touch the ever expanding awareness
of the magic each moment can provide. This wondrous Tao,
this wild weaving of polarities into Oneness.
-Steven Pratt. Nelson, B.C.
It is a joy to return, and return, and return again to share in your
dedication to beauty and to fierce truth. Earthsong is a place of
devotion to healing of self, other, community and world.
-Paloma Pavel. Oakland, Ca.
I will always remember in my heart this place, where I am tree
and earth and invited to be myself. I am speechless at the growth
I see in people here and the acceptance of diversity.
-Matt Scott. Indiana
Rashani, thank you for picking up the phone when I made my
first phone call from Japan, desperate to smell the ocean and feel
the wind. Thank you for letting me work in the gardens of paradise
at Earthsong. It was a meditative process in itself...I see a speck of
the full moon hiding behind the clouds as I write.
-Tamoko Sakai. Tokyo, Japan
I started out for this, your place of peace and healing, in the dark,
down & up through this day's dawn, into a dark safe womb of this
earth, to later stagger up into the light of a beautiful day to meet a new
and wonderful person.
-Gillian O'brien. Dublin, Ireland
A sacred spiral turns from beneath the Mother,
breaking ground at Earthsong. Making our pain into medicine.
True compassion awakens.
-Robin Solomon. Boulder, Co.
I have left years of suffering behind in this sacred place
and am eternally grateful for your extraordinary service.
-Daniel Bowling. Charleston, N.C.
In the cave I heard clearly "Honor all paths." Was it an echo
of ancient voices or did the voice emerge from within?
-Lisa McLean. Carmel, Ca.
Thank you for gracing this earth with a place of song that makes
us each feel a welcomed and harmonious part of it all.
-Nathan Stevens. Sidney, Australia
Mahalo for creating this Buddhafield for people to be healed,
to return to the world to give back the healing.
Earthsong is a profound experience.
-Rosilyn Smith. Hilo, Hawai'i
We come here to remember our interconnectedness. We
are learning new ways to live on this earth. I realized this
here at Earthsong, plus how the depth of compassion is endless.
Here, I touched eternity.
-Shantum Thakardeen, New Delhi, India
Aloha Earthsong! How far we journey and here we belong.
Spiritual sanctuaries and ‘aina retreats refresh us anew
that we may be complete.
-Stephen A. Gardner. Captain Cook, Hawai'i
Back to Switzerland after two and a half weeks at Earthsong.
I have the courage and the energy to move emotions with the deaf
and blind community. I am able to find a common dance with their
difficult destiny: an experience which goes very deep. This grace
comes from the very deep moments I lived at Earthsong.
-Norma Bargetzi. Meisterschwenden, Switzerland
What a treasure - to start the year with you at Earthsong!
-Linda Tellington-Jones. Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i
Did Earthsong find me? My gratitude for your acceptance, love,
strength, wisdom and healing presence when in my darkest hour
I came to you.
-Sasha Brucker. Takoma Park, MD
Here at Earthsong, you have done to things what light does--
and the glittering darkness.
-Celeste West. San Francisco, Ca.
